The MHS Roadrunners went 4-0 in the South Pasadena Baseball Classic on June 6-7, winning the championship 7-1 against Arroyo Vista. They won their first game against Holy Family 19-3. Leo Tuason had three hits and Adham Dhanraj, Dhylan Dhanraj, and Ryo Imao had two hits a piece. MHS pulled out the second game against AV 8-7 with a “walk of walk” by Jack Butcher. Dusty Kattar, Adham Dhanraj, and Bodhi Agrawal had two hits a piece. MHS cruised in the semifinals, beating Holy Family 15-0 behind a perfect game pitched by Dante Campillo-Clark. In the championship game against AV, a big fourth inning in which MHS scored seven runs was the difference. Jack Butcher threw four shutout innings and Leo Tuason pitched the last two innings, recording a strikeout to clinch the tournament. For the tournament, MHS was led at the plate by Adham Dhanraj (who batted an amazing 1.000), Dante Campillo-Clark (0.571), Leo Tuason (0.556), Dusty Kattar (0.500), Sasha Rubin (0.500), and Dhylan Dhanraj (0.444). The team consisted of Bodhi Agrawal, Brayden Beresford, Jack Butcher, Dante Campillo-Clark, Adham Dhanraj, Dhylan Dhanraj, Luca Garibay, Ryo Imao, Dusty Kattar, Nico Kim, Jayden Lin, Sasha Rubin, Leo Tuason, and Jayden Wang.
