Welcome Back Picnic - Friday, September 5

Welcome Back Picnic is our annual family fun event where our roadrunners come to campus to play, eat, and just have a wonderful time. Admission is free!

We'll have the ping pong table out and offer pickleball, basketball and soccer for free play. Community childcare providers will have booths in our “Afterschool Alley” to inform parents about afterschool classes and activities.

BYO picnic or enjoy the on-site options for purchase! Our local Cub Scouts will sell pizza, hot dogs, chips and soda. Austyn's Burger will sell burgers (including vegan and vegetarian patties cooked on a separate top), grilled cheese sandwiches, fries, and soda. Taiyaki and shaved ice will also be sold. And the South Pas DUDES will make cotton candy!

Help with Welcome Back Picnic

In order to make this event fun, we’re looking for:

Donations of gently used pickleball paddles and balls, basketballs, soccer balls, handballs. There will be a drop-off box outside the office the next three weeks. Please drop-off during school hours so that they can be brought in at the end of the day. Items after the event will be used for PTA activities or donated to the school.
To borrow 10'x10' pop-up tents that can be dropped off the week of the event at the front office. Please label clearly with your name on it so it can be returned after the event!
We'd appreciate all volunteer help that day, including High School volunteers! If you have a High Schooler who would like to complete a few volunteer hours by helping out at any of the sports stations or have experience in making balloon wands or has face painting experience, please sign them up on the Sign-Up Genius!
