Japanese Children’s Day
In Japan, Children’s Day, also known as Kodomo no hi, is a national holiday celebrated on March 5. It’s a day to celebrate the happiness, health, and well-being of children, and to recognize their individuality and strengths.
Our MHS students will enjoy a Taiko (Japanese drumming) performance and a craft activity while learning about the cultural celebration during their lunch-time recess on Friday 5/2.
