5th Grade Musical 2024!

Hello 5th Grade Parents,

My name is Todd Edwards, and I am the parent of a 5th grader at Marengo and the chair of SPEF's 5th Grade Musical!  For those that are new to the district or unaware of this event, The Fifth-grade musical is an annual South Pasadena tradition open to Fifth-grade students at all three of our elementary schools.  This after-school program allows our Fifth graders to develop relationships with peers across the city so the transition to 6th grade is easier and full of familiar faces. 

We are so excited to get started on this year's production of The Descendants

with our partners from Upstage, another South Pasadena institution!

Some things you need to know or TL/DR

1. SPEF's 5th Grade Musical sign-up is coming soon!

2. SPEF will hold a Parent information meeting via Google Meet on September 28th, 7 pm.  (See attached Flyer)

3. Registration opens October 3, 9 am at: https://spef4kids.campbrainregistration.com/

4. Rehearsals begin October 25, 3:30 - 6
