Parent Coffee & Parent Ed - March 6

On Friday, March 6 during our monthly Parent Coffee, MHS PTA will host a PTA Connected: The Smart Talk digital safety event. During the event, families will participate in conversations about privacy, apps and content, interacting with others online and screen time. Families will also learn about The Smart Talk, a free, interactive online tool that walks families through a series of guided digital safety and online privacy questions, helping facilitate open, positive conversations that result in a personalized family technology agreement.

The event is part of a collaboration between National PTA and Norton (part of Gen). The collaboration is part of National PTA’s PTA Connected initiative, which seeks to improve digital access and equity, digital safety and well-being, cybersecurity and digital literacy for all children through tailored programs, dissemination of resources and tools and community conversations.
