On Friday, February 20, during our morning assembly, the Beteta Brothers will be performing trống hội, Vietnamese traditional drumming.
The Beteta brothers are an MHS family and junior members of the Thiên Ân Performing Arts. (Thiên Ân means “Heaven’s Blessing” in Vietnamese.) The group mixes traditional drumming with modern music, preserving traditional Vietnamese culture while incorporating modern sounds to appeal to younger generations.
