Academic and Social-Emotional Development Parent Workshops
Back in the day, schools were primarily focused on building academic acumen. But, our world is ever-evolving and so must our schools. We are tasked to build the skills in our students, your children, that will be needed to successfully navigate the 21st Century. This might seem daunting, but we know that the efforts of our collaboration will bear fruit.
We have curated a list of parent workshops for the remainder of the 2022-23 school year (see list below). The presentations will be made by MHS/SPUSD staff. Our areas of expertise are in reading and math instruction, however, we feel very adept at addressing the non-academic focused workshops from the school practitioners point of view.
Unless otherwise indicated, the sessions are for parents of TK-5th grade students. We will conduct the workshops via Zoom as we know that will allow more of our families to access. Prior to our meetings, you will receive the Zoom link to the presentation with a more detailed description of the workshops via ParentSquare. For now, we ask that you please ----
