PTA Events and Programs
The PTA is grateful for all the efforts of parent volunteers. Without your generous help, the additional programs and improvements the PTA has contributed to MHS simply would not be possible. Your participation in Wish Night, scrip purchases, various fundraisers, special programs, and other PTA events is much appreciated. Following is a list of events and programs for which we will need volunteers in 2004-2005. Please consider helping out in one or more areas and contact any of our officers if you can assist or have ideas and suggestions.

| Art Docent Program | Create and run an art docent program for our school |
| Beautification | Plant gardens and shrubs to enhance campus beauty |
| Book Fair | Help organize and run a spring and fall book fair fundraiser |
| Cultural Arts Assemblies | Organize a number of cultural arts assemblies for students |
| Family Fun Nights | Create and organize special nonfundraising events to bring parents and children together |
| Fundraising | Help organize events for fundraising |
| Fun Fair | Help organize the annual elementary schools Fun Fair |
| Grandparents' Day | Organize the day for grandparents and special guests to visit MHS |
| Halloween Parade | Organize and run the afterschool Haloween costume parade for all MHS students |
| Holiday Workshop | Organize and run the Holiday store/workshop for students in December |
| Hospitality | Ensure that there are refreshments and child care available at all general membership PTA meetings |
| Membership | Organize and run the PTA membership drive |
| Red Ribbon Week | Organize and run Red Ribbon Week in the month of October |
| Roadrunner Review | Assist with writing, publishing or distribution of the PTA newsletter |
| School Directory | Publish and distribute the MHS School Directory |
| School Spirit | Organize and oversee special school spirit events |
| Science Fair | Help organize and run MHS's yearly Science Fair held during Open House |
| Sports Field Day | Help organize and run MHS's sports activity day |
| Talent Show | Help to direct and organize our annual MHS talent show |
| Staff Appreciation Week | Help organize and run this May week where parents and students show appreciation for staff members |
| Wish Night | Help organize and run Wish Night |
